Acne treatment is one of the most sought after treatments among younger generation. Acne problem is very general as well as serious skin ailment. It is the inflammatory situation of hair follicles and sebaceous glands. Acne spots are mostly found on the face, chest, neck, back, and shoulder areas.

Causes of Acne

Acne occurs due to irregular & incorrect eating & drinking habits and long term constipation. Almost every type of acne is primarily starts with wrong eating behaviors. Irregular eating hours, intake of very high amount of starch, too much sugar, oily & fried foods are the main causes of acne.

Zinc:

Use of zinc is very effective remedy for acne.  Initially one should take 50 mg of zinc thrice a day for a month. There zinc tablets and capsules available that can be used readily. If done regularly, there will be significant improvement in acne.

Lemon:

Apply lemon juice on acne affected areas as frequently as you can and reduce acne and pimple rapidly.

Vitamins:

Vitamins such as niacin, vitamin A and E are very effective in acne treatment. Taking 100 mg niacin and 50,000 IU vitamin A three times a day and 400 mg once a day for a month is very effective in acne treatment.

Garlic:

For centuries, garlic has been used as an effective acne natural treatment. Massage raw garlic on the problem area frequently and remove acne without any difficulty. To treat acne permanently, eat couple of raw garlic daily. Intake of raw garlic purifies the blood that keeps acne away.

Orange peel:

One of the very effective yet easily available home remedy for acne is use of Orange peels. Just make the paste of orange peels with water and apply it on the affected area, you will see the quick improvement.

There are several other herbs such as coriander, mint, turmeric powder, Fenugreek, cucumber, rose water, oatmeal, yogurt, groundnut oil, ground almonds, honey, sandalwood, and black gram etc are also very effective in treating acne.
